Within the framework of Christian instruction and example, our students are challenged to think, inspired to create, empowered to lead, and motivated to win. But it’s not just our college preparatory curriculum, cutting-edge technology, and innovative programs that single us out in Baton Rouge. It’s how our faculty and students use these resources every day—collaborating, problem solving, mentoring, communicating, learning, and leading—that’s unique. And it’s the Christ-like love modeled and lived out daily that creates a palpable and joyful spirit on our campus—a spirit that makes all the difference in educating young minds and hearts. Sequitur Classical Academy

Sequitur Classical Academy offers a top-rated classical and Christian education in the capital city. As a Christian school, our courses are founded on the Word of God, the preeminence of Christ, and our faculty consists of godly men and women who love their students, enjoy their subjects, and who embody the virtues they teach. As a classical school, we offer the best cohort of academic courses in Southeast Louisiana. And as Louisiana’s leading hybrid school, we partner with parents to do the work God has given them to do, to form and raise their children to be intelligent, faithful, and virtuous men and women. This is why our mission is to educate “for the purpose of teaching children to affirm the true, pursue the good, and enjoy the beautiful to the glory of Jesus Christ, by whom and for whom all things were created.” Our mission is not only aimed at academic competency. It is likewise a mission concerning love, being used by God to aim a child’s heart and affections in the right direction. We are not so much concerned with where our students attend college or where they will be employed. Our most fundamental educational care is who our students become. And in reaching that primary goal, they become fully prepared for collegiate studies, for engaging the world, and for their vocation. Please explore our site to learn more about our classes, school culture, and vision for education.
