Spend a slice of your Baton Rouge summer at Dunham! Registration opens in February for Dunham Summer Camp in Baton Rouge. Open to Dunham and non-Dunham students and conveniently located near Bluebonnet and Perkins Rowe, our summer opportunities include a traditional day camp as well as enrichment camps in arts, academics, athletics, and STEAM. BREC Summer Camps
For decades, BREC’s Summer Camps have been an inclusive, family tradition in East Baton Rouge Parish! Parents recognize the quality of BREC’s summer program which is loaded with a diverse curriculum of fun, memory-making activities that are second to none. Campers experience recreational games, community field trips, recreational sports, cultural arts, develop new friendships and more. From recreation and theatre to animals and science, there is a camp for children of all abilities, ages and interests!
Registration begins online March 2, 2024 for East Baton Rouge Parish residents!
Camp Ages :: Camp BREC has opportunities for campers ages 3 up to 17 depending on your camp session selection. This also includes BREC Beginnings half-day camps for the little ones ages 3 and 4, Camp Red Stick for ages 11-14 and Counselors or Leaders in Training camps for ages 14-17.
Camp Costs :: $125 for EBR Parish residents; $144 for out-of-parish residents (camp costs do vary across camp opportunities)

Tiger's Den Summer Camp
Tiger’s Den Mission is to provide an exceptional recreational experience through a fun, inclusive, and diverse camp program, by providing world class facilities and programming that promotes inclusion, learning, and healthy lifestyles.
LSU UREC Tiger’s Den is designed for children ages 6 to 12. Each session is filled with sports, structured games, educational activities, field trips, arts and crafts, and more. All activities are led by LSU students who are first aid and CPR certified and complete Louisiana Mandate Reporter Training.
Tiger’s Den is open to all families, and membership to LSU UREC is not required to attend Tiger’s Den Summer Camp. Lunch is provided during Summer Camp sessions and all campers receive a Tiger’s Den t-shirt.
Registration opens March 1, 2024 for LSU faculty, staff, and UREC members. Registration opens April 1, 2024 for all others.

Regular Summer Camp sessions run Monday – Thursday/Friday from 8:30am – 11:30am. Camps are led by experienced potters and early childhood educators. Camps are perfect for kids ages 6 – 14. Campers are divided by age and focus on different projects each day that fall into the larger theme of the session. Projects are often subject to campers’ interpretation (ie a crawfish in a crawfish hole project may evolve into an alien in an alien dwelling).
