Join Us :: Baton Rouge Community Neighborhood Groups

Does it feel like none of your friends have children the same age as yours? Or have you been wanting to try the new indoor play space in your neighborhood but all of your friends with kids work?

Are you a working mom who wants to arrange playdates for her children on the weekend, but all of the playgroups in your area meet during the work week?

Are you new to the Baton Rouge area and looking for recommendations for pediatricians, schools, or family-friendly activities in your area? How to Connect to Friends in Baton Rouge
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions (or even if you didn’t), we have exciting news for you! Red Stick Mom is thrilled to introduce our Community Neighborhood Groups. The primary goal of these groups is to help moms via virtual connections and resources. Whether you’re a new mom, new to the city, or just want to meet new friends, our online Facebook groups will be the perfect way to connect with moms in your area.

We currently have the following neighborhood groups available to join below, along with a special interest group (feel free to join more than one – we know that you may live in one area of Baton Rouge and work in yet another). Don’t see your neighborhood? While this doesn’t encompass every single neighborhood, feel free to hop into the one that is closest to you. If the need arises, we can add more in the future. Just click on your area and ask to join the group!

From there, let the fun begin!

In addition to our Neighborhood groups, we have also added Special Interest groups. We hope these will be positive, open forums to vent, share resources, and meet new friends.

This is a wonderful opportunity for you and your kids to make new friends and connections in our community!

  1. Hi Erica, we recently moved to Baton Rouge and are buying a home in the Tara subdivision. What neighborhood group would that be?

    • Hi Courtney! So I would likely join the Broadmoor/Goodwood since Tara is near Goodwood. If for any reason in the future, you wanted to join a different area because of work or making other friends, you certainly could!

  2. Can we start an adoption mom group? Just s thought- I’ve always wanted to connect with more moms that know the ins and outs of adoption!
