Things to Do in Baton Rouge With Kids

Things To Do In Baton Rouge With Kids

There are so many things to do with kids in Baton Rouge year-round! We strive to share ideas for every family’s budget and interests. Whether you are visiting Baton Rouge with kids or you live in and around Baton Rouge year-round, there are tons of kid-friendly outings to choose from. Below are local family-friendly events happening each month in the Baton Rouge area. We are sure you will find at least one or two (or ten!) to add to your family’s calendar each month!

Children’s Hospital New Orleans

The Children’s Hospital New Orleans specialty clinic is now relocated to a new, expanded multi-specialty clinic, located in the heart of Baton Rouge’s medical district on the campus of Baton Rouge General Medical Center. The new clinic features 24 exam rooms, 2 treatment rooms and a dedicated room for echocardiograms. The expanded clinic will allow for increased capacity, expanded provider coverage for our pediatric subspecialties, and the addition of mental and behavioral health services.

This is in no way intended to be a comprehensive event guide {we maintain a full calendar of events right here}. We’ve pulled out a select number of events for your family to enjoy throughout the month. If you have suggestions or additions, please leave a comment!
