Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery is a tuition-free public charter school offering a health sciences-integrated curriculum designed to meet the educational needs of all students. We serve students from Pre-K through 7th grade, and will add 8th grade in the fall of 2026.

For over five decades, The Brighton School has led the way for K-12 students with dyslexia and related learning differences. Using evidence-based practices which target both academic strengths and weaknesses, Brighton helps students succeed. Students benefit from small class sizes and multi-sensory strategies across all subject areas. Daily reading and math instruction is taught in 53-minute sessions in small groups with a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
