Party Time | Our Five-ish Favorite Costumes of 2020

Halloween is BY FAR our favorite time of the year. When everyone else is stopping to get their Pumpkin Spice fix, we are stopping anywhere and everywhere we can to get ourselves Best place to get costumes in Baton Rouge.a spooky dose of what October has to offer.

A few weeks ago, we made a stop into Party Time at Bluebonnet and Airline. A quick trip to roam the aisles, get a look at what they had to offer in the costume department and try to get a jumpstart on narrowing down costumes for five boys. Which can be a HUGE win or fail depending on where we stop. Naturally, Party Time hit the spot for us and I want to share why!

To start off, we love LOVE that Party Time has aisle upon aisles of DIY options. Masks and wigs and wings….down to body parts and face paint and all things “mama I want to be a hot pink, sparkle dragon that does magic!” Aisles organized by color and others filled full with every mask under the sun. You name it, you can pretty much make it.

The Quarantine Zombie costume. Naturally, it’s a funny twist on life as they have known it. It’s also a little bit gory, a little bit scary, and best of all, it’s easy! A quick jump suit is just what my boys like on Halloween night.

Boys Spongebob costume Baton Rouge. Another big request on our visit was this SpongeBob SquarePants costume. We have done A LOT of costume shopping in our days and have yet to find such a great SpongeBob costume. This one really grabbed my seven year old’s attention because of close to “the real SpongeBob” it was. This one gets my stamp of approval for it’s great quality!

Also, I COULD NOT get over how sweet this Rex Infant Costume was! Another costume that I have not yet seen and LOVE the idea behind putting this together with the rest of the crew from Toy Story as a family theme!

Halloween Costumes for Girls We LOVE:

How sweet is this Abby Cadabby costume? Another really simple, easy to throw on costume that is perfectly sparkly. Also, not listed on the website is a SWEET Frilly Big Bird costume, perfect for two little sisters or besties to dress together. Girls halloween costumes Baton Rouge.

Vampirina is one of our favorite girls at home so naturally, she was was a top pick for me 🙂 Another easy peasy, throw it on and call it a day costume!

A couple more favorites: this Shuri costume from Black Panther is SO GOOD. I also think this Mad Scientist Girl costume is really fun could be fun to style and take it up a notch.
