The Francis Southern Table and Bar :: A Must Visit Restaurant in St. Francisville
One of my favorite restaurants to visit with my family is located just outside of the Baton Rouge area. It is called The Francis Southern Table And Bar and is located in St. Francisville, LA. It’s a really a nice restaurant – the manager, host and waiters are all very welcoming.
It’s a vibrant restaurant that offers delicious dishes and drinks.
There are so many seating options which makes this the perfect spot for family gatherings. The Francis Southern Table and Bar offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Both options come with views of televisions for the upcoming sports games. The outdoor seating is set on a deck underneath the shade of a large, majestic tree or you can opt to dine on the balcony. The indoor seating provides ample seating with beautiful views. I’ve eaten here so many times! One of my favorite dishes to get is the seafood platter called the Triple Play. It comes with fried fish, shrimp and oysters. You can choose between fries or the loaded baked potato. I always get the loaded baked potato. It’s so delicious!
They also serve some other great dishes like seafood gumbo, specialty Po boys sandwiches and burgers. They also offer a really good dessert menu. Cheesecake is my favorite. Some other options are triple chocolate cake, white chocolate bread pudding and key lime pie.
If you’re ever in the St. Francisville area (or if you’re up for a drive), you should definitely stop there. You will leave full and with leftovers because their portion size is out of this world! This restaurant also host events, offers catering and live bands – so be sure to check out their events ahead of time!
