You’re Invited :: To The Chuck E. Cheese Grand Re-Opening Event

Taking kiddos out to eat can sometimes (all the time?) feel like a bit of a nightmare. All the “please sit still”, “eat your food”,  and “don’t get under the table” makes us question our judgement as parents. Recently, we took our kids to dinner at a casual restaurant that had a small arcade where they had a blast play games in between bites of dinner. This got me thinking about one of my favorite places to go as a kid. I think we can all agree that when we were kiddos there weren’t many restaurants that got us more excited than Chuck E. Cheese. You literally have a recipe for a kid’s best time: eating your favorite food, playing fun arcade games, and getting prizes with all your tickets. It’s dinner and entertainment all wrapped up in one. And for those of us who are kids at heart, we may have missed the magic a bit. 

Well, don’t worry, because now we have kids and we get to share the fun with them! On Wednesday, December 8th from 5-7pm, Baton Rouge’s newly remodeled Chuck E. Cheese is having a Grand Re-Opening Event that includes raffle prizes, family fun entertainment and an appearance from Chuck E. Cheese and the Munch’s Make Believe Band for the Winter Winner Live show. 

The games we loved as kids are new and improved including an interactive dance floor. This location is one of the first nationwide to be remodeled and we are positive that the new look and updates will be a hit. Along with it’s signature pizza, Chuck E. Cheese will be featuring seasonal activities and foods throughout the year. For this event there will be lots of winter themed items like Frost Bite Churros, Iced Brownies, and “bag of snow” popcorn. 

If you’re really on your game, come early to be one of the first 25 families in line and receive arcade play for up to two children for the two-hour re-opening event. That evening, there will also be a raffle for a free Ultimate Super Star Birthday Package for 10 kids, as well as a Gold VIP Play Band, good for one year of All You Can Play access.
