Originally from Lafayette, Marica moved to Baton Rouge in 2004 to attend Louisiana State University—and never looked back. A 2008 graduate of the LSU Manship School of Mass Communication, she earned her degree in Mass Communication with a focus in Public Relations and a minor in Sociology.
After 14 years working in government and public relations in the Capital City, Marica stepped into her favorite role yet in 2023: full-time mom to her daughter, Barclay. She and her husband, Rick, have been married five years and share their home with Rona, their six-year-old French Bulldog “dog-ter.”
Marica loves travel, thrifting treasures, football, photography, running, and getting lost in a great book. Come fall, you’ll find her cheering on the Tigers and tailgating outside Tiger Stadium with the semi-famous Nakatrash Tailgaters.
