Jump into Aquatics at BREC
BREC's Liberty Lagoon has a variety of aquatics classes starting in May. In addition, BREC is offering FREE swim lessons at Anna T. Jordan Community Park, City-Brooks Community Park and Howell Community Park. A partnership with the American Red Cross and Southeast Louisiana Aquatics made this free initiative possible and will give about 500 children at Liberty Lagoon and 180 kids at each of the community pools this opportunity .

BREC's Farr Park Equestrian Center and RV Campground is one of the areas largest and most versatile centers for horse enthusiasts.
It features a lighted indoor and outdoor arena, 256 stalls, a cross-country event course, horse trails and RV campground.
The facility is located only two miles from the LSU campus and six miles from downtown Baton Rouge attractions. The campground is adjacent to the Mississippi River, located on historic River Road. It is easily accessible from Interstate 10. The campground has 108 sites (many pull-throughs) and is equipped with water and power hookups and restroom facilities.

Outdoor Adventure with BREC - Archery Academy 2.0
BREC's Archery Academy 2.0 is an intermediate archery program designed for people who have completed our beginner “Archery Academy” Program, or for those who are novice level archers that are looking to take their archery skills to the next level.
We meet once a week for four weeks to review and practice skills, ending with an Olympic style archery tournament to put your skills to the test with your other classmates! Both youth and adults are welcome. All equipment is provided.
