Fun Fall Activities For Toddlers

Fun Fall Activities for Toddlers

Fall is here and that means spending more time together as a family! With cooler weather, outdoor activities and events all around, there’s so much to do with young kids! Here’s a list of fall fun activities you should do with your toddler before the season is over with.

Decorate a pumpkin:

Visit your local farmers market and pick up a pumpkin to decorate. Here’s a safer way to decorate the pumpkin with your toddlers – instead of carving out the pumpkins, try painting and drawing funny faces on it with markers. You can also add stickers and other fun decor as well.

Visit a local Pumpkin Patch or Corn Maze:

Our favorite pumpkin patches are Mrs. Heather’s Pumpkin Patch and LSU Botanical Garden

Visit your local Boo at the Zoo:

Boo at the Zoo is one of the best family fun fall activities. My husband and I bring my daughter every year and she loves it! It’s available October 19, 20, 26, 27 here in Baton Rouge, LA. Check out your local zoo website for more info.

Bake and decorate Halloween cookies:

Baking cookies with your littles is such a fun activity. You can use a cookie cutter to cut the cookies into different shapes like a pumpkin, scarecrow or even little ghosts. The best part is decorating them with special Halloween sprinkles and colorful icing!

Fall Movie Night:

Have a fun fall movie night! Disney has a bunch of Halloween movies to watch. Everyone can wear cozy fall or Halloween themed pajamas. You can also prepare tasty snacks to eat while watching the movie. Popcorn and candy assortment at home can make the night extra special.

Bake sheet pan s’mores:

Here’s a quick and easy s’mores sheet pan recipe.

Ingredients:
12 graham crackers
2 Hershey chocolate bars
6 marshmallows

Instructions:

Place 6 graham crackers on a sheet pan. Put a row of chocolate and top with marshmallows. Cover with graham crackers.

Place the sheet pan in the oven on 350 for 3 minutes. Once the marshmallows are puffed out, the s’mores are done.

Remove the pan from the oven, let cool and serve.

I hope you enjoy these fall fun activities with your toddler as much as I do!

Ronnie
Hi, I’m Ronnie! I’m married to my husband Jonovon and we have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. In 2019 I graduated Esthetician School which is where I gained a love for Skincare. When I had our daughter in 2020 and became a stay at home mom, I decided to start a new craft and started making handmade soaps. I soon branched out to making bath bombs and then I later added body butters. I now have a small handmade Skin & Body care business. I love being a Mom and trying new crafts with my daughter. Fun fact,I am also a pageant mom! My favorite things include spending time with my family, watching my favorite shows and Holiday Hallmark movies. I also love trying new recipes and baking.
