Corn Maze at Burden

Location: 4560 Essen Lane Baton Rouge, LA

Dates: October 5, 12, 19, 26

Times:
Morning | 9 – 11 a.m.
Midday | Noon – 2 p.m.
Afternoon | 2:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Night Maze (Oct. 26 only) | 6 – 9 p.m.

Event Details: Activities will include: Corn Maze, Sunflower Fields (weather dependent), Pumpkin Patch, Petting Farm, Gargantuan Games, Corn Crip, Spook-tacular Playground, Temporary Tattoo Parlor, Hayride, Satsuma picking, Hay Mountain, and Picnic Area with local snack vendors

Tickets are $15 per person and free for children two and younger. Tickets are pre-sale only, and will not be offered at the gate. All ages must have a ticket to enter. Tickets are limited.

Night Maze will be on October 26th from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Admission to Night Maze is $20 per person and free for children two and younger.

Jefferson United Methodist Church

Location: 10328 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA

Dates: Daily starting Thursday, October 5

Times: WEEKDAYS 11 a.m. to  6 p.m.  | SATURDAYS 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. | SUNDAYS 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Event Details: Family fun in a safe environment. All proceeds support area Missions.

Mrs. Heather’s Pumpkin Patch

Location: 11215 Lee’s Lane (Hammond, LA)

Dates: September 25 through November 8

Times: Monday through Sunday 9:00am until 4:00pm

Event Details: $10 per child, adults are free. Adults without Kids – $10.  Cash only. Pick a pumpkin, jumping pillow, face painting, farm animals, hay maze, picnic lunch spot, and more. Mrs. Heather’s also schedules field trips and birthday parties!

Brushy Branch Christmas Tree Farm and Pumpkin Picking

Location: 51211 Narretto Rd (Loranger)

Opening Day: September 28

New Song Community Church

Location: 18465 Old Perkins Road in Prairieville

Dates: September 30th – October 31st

Times: Monday-Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6:00 p.m.

All proceeds from the patch go to church missions including Association of Living Water, Christ Healing Food Pantry, Angel Tree, Open Air Ministries, Operation Christmas Child, and more.
Newsong will also host a free Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26th from 2-5pm. Live music, free jambalaya, artisan market, Youth bake sale, face painting, inflatables, games, and crafts will be just a few attractions available.

Poche’s Pumpkin Patch

Location: 930 Guilbeau Rd, Lafayette, LA

Dates: October 2 – October 31

Times: Wednesday – Friday 3pm – 6:30pm; Saturday & Sunday 10am – 6:30pm

Event Details: New themes each week from Princesses & Superheros to Paint the Patch Orange! Enjoy a cold drink at their cash only bar, with the games on, while your kids play and celebrate the fall season! You’ll enjoy a giant hay maze, a book walk, tons of selfie photo stations, obstacle courses for the kids, a zoo jump zone, culvert slides, pumpkins of course and much more!

Patch at the Park

Location: Youngsville Sports Complex

Date: October 6

Time: Fridays 4-7pm, Saturdays and Sundays 11am-5pm

Event Details: Patch at the Park is a family fun day presented by the Rotary Club of Youngsville. Patch at the Park will have food trucks, an arts and crafts market, fall photo opportunities, and more. The entrance fee is $20 per child. Adults are free.

If you are planning to attend a church Pumpkin Patch be sure to call ahead. Many of the churches we spoke with said the opening dates were contingent on the pumpkins arriving as scheduled and are subject to change.

Born on the bayou in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Nicole loves all things southern. She moved to Baton Rouge in 2004 to attend LSU and has lived there ever since.
