Well, my husband, Matt and I survived our first time bringing one of our kids to a game at Tiger Stadium. The day played out similar to the football game. She started off strong and full of LSU spirit while we tailgated but fizzled out by the time we got to the stadium after a long wait for the Golden Band in the 95 degree sun. We were able to revive her with copious amounts of concessions, but it was a rough first half. Our tiny six year old daughter put away a large Mr. Pibb, nachos, dippin’ dots, and a bag of popcorn before the end of the third quarter. I don’t know if it was because we...
Some may cringe at the very thought of reading in general, while others are thrilled at the expectation of getting a new book. My kids are the later. They love to read! I am very thankful that they are on the love for reading path. So going to the library is usually filled with lots of excitement. New books!! You want to know what?! (This is mostly for those who don't visit their local library very often) ... there is so much more than just books. Why we love the library Yes, there are lots of book options. My son pretty much checked out half of the Captain Underpants novels from our local library. This saved us so much money! Why not...

RaceTrac Pizza, Our Secret to a Hectic Day You know those days, the ones you have ALL THE THINGS scheduled on? Carpool, bible study, carpool for kid 1, carpool for kid 2, homework, soccer practice, youth group ... ugh! For me, it’s Monday’s giving the song Manic Monday a whole new feel. These are the days that I’m just too exhausted to meal plan, or if I’m being honest, I just plain forget! But I’ll let you in on a little secret: we have a quick, affordable place where everyone in my family can customize their dinner and we all walk away happy! From pizza...
Disclosure :: this post is sponsored by The Big Squeezy; however, all opinions stated below are our own. Lets talk juice cleanses. They sound scary and hard and intimidating. I know, because it took me a good month or two to finally get to the point that I was ready to tackle one. I, myself like a good ol' challenge. It legit gets me going and does my mind and so body good. When I finished off a 30-day fitness challenge in January, I was left in the land of "meh." Nothing new and exciting to get me pumped again. Fast forward to last week. I scrolled past a post from a friend who had been fasting for 3 days and...
