Quick & Easy Healthy Salmon Recipe
I have put together the perfect healthy salmon recipe that takes only 45 minutes or less to cook. This sheet pan salmon is perfect for those busy nights when you need a quick and easy dinner.
Prepping the night before
Prepping your salmon and vegetables the night before is the perfect way to save time. Marinate your salmon. Season your salmon to your liking making sure it is fully coated with the mixture and store in a ziplock bag overnight. Clean, cut and peel all vegetables and store them in a container as well. This will save a lot of time and make your night much smoother.
Here’s a list of ingredients use to prepare this meal ::
Ingredients:
- Salmon (cut into individual fillets)
- Small Red Potatoes
- Broccoli
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Honey
- Minced garlic
- Soy sauce
- Butter
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
Cooking the salmon
Place the salmon onto the baking sheet. Add the potatoes and broccoli. Season the vegetables and drizzle a little olive oil over them. This will help prevent them from burning. Place in the oven on 400 for 45 minutes. While everything is cooking in the oven, it’s now time to make the honey glaze. In a small pot, combine honey, butter, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice and pepper. Bring up to a boil over medium heat and let simmer for about four minutes until the sauce thickens. When the salmon is almost done, I like to brush the honey glaze over the salmon and place it back into the oven for the remaining time. Save extra sauce to serve for later.
It’s the perfect quick and easy healthy dish. I hope you and your family enjoy it.
