Tips For A Back To School Stress Free Morning

Tips For A Back To School Stress Free Morning

It’s that time of year again! With a new school year starting, mornings can sometimes be hectic. I have listed a few tips to help you on those stressful mornings. Hopefully these few tips can help your mornings run a lot smoother.

Tip 1: Start the night before

I find that preparing everything the night before makes mornings easier. Before bedtime let your child take their bath. Picking clothes out for the next day can also make your mornings go smoother. Another tip for picking out clothes – you can plan to pick out clothes on Sunday for the whole week, labeling them each day. This saves time in the morning and after school when it can really get hectic.

Tip 2: Prepping breakfast food

Prepping and planning your breakfast food for the next morning saves a lot of time. Try to make healthy quick breakfast meals for your kids before school. A few suggestions are waffles, sausage and eggs, cereal with a sliced banana, oatmeal, yogurt and mixed fruit. Some drink choices are milk, water or apple juice. Also packing lunches the night before can be a big help. The more you do the night before the less hectic your mornings are.

Tip 3: Set a routine

Having a morning routine establishes the tone of the day. This will help make the mornings run smoother for you and your child. Having a set routine will also help being on time. It is also very important to have a night time routine as well. Establishing a consistent sleep schedule making sure your child gets plenty of rest and is ready for the next day. This will also help get them up and out the door.

Tip 4: Being Organized

Keeping everything together and labeled helps your family stay organized. Hanging jackets in the living room closet with backpacks as well, or on a jacket hanger by the door. This saves time in the morning and keeps you from misplacing anything or wondering where it is. Remember to set a few alarms in the morning. This can help you keep track of how much time you have before leaving for school drop offs.

Have a great school year and I hope these tips help everyone have a less stressful back to school morning.

Hi, I’m Ronnie! I’m married to my husband Jonovon and we have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. In 2019 I graduated Esthetician School which is where I gained a love for Skincare. When I had our daughter in 2020 and became a stay at home mom, I decided to start a new craft and started making handmade soaps. I soon branched out to making bath bombs and then I later added body butters. I now have a small handmade Skin & Body care business. I love being a Mom and trying new crafts with my daughter. Fun fact,I am also a pageant mom! My favorite things include spending time with my family, watching my favorite shows and Holiday Hallmark movies. I also love trying new recipes and baking.
