SPOOKtacular Playdate Recap

We were so excited to welcome families who could make it out for this super fun morning at Lil Bambinos Playtorium! Everyone walked in smiling, dressed with a touch of Halloween spirit and ready to enjoy treats and PLAY time! There were lots of fun and age appropriate activities for all Baton Rouge kids to enjoy, including climbing the jungle gym, playing with building blocks, grocery shopping, jumping in the bounce house, or even hosting a puppet show.

We were so excited to have another successful playdate at Lil Bambinos Playtorium! This is a mom-owned business in Gonzales, and when we say they have thought of just about everything to entertain the kids, that’s a fact! Activities include everything from sliding, jumping, crawling, reading, building blocks, trains, putting on puppet shows, grocery shopping and more! We highly recommend looking at this playtorium for your next Baton Rouge birthday celebration, or you can check their calendar to see available days and times to bring your family to play!

We had so much fun hanging out with the magical Tooth Fairy from Pediatric Dental
Specialists of Baton Rouge. There was great information offered, cool goodies to take home and a giveaway to enter to win an kid-approved electric toothbrush! Our friends at Sherman and Balhoff-Specialists in Orthodontics brought a colorful set-up and beautiful smiles! They were also providing great information about braces and lots of goodies were to guests. The food and beverages were such a delightful part of this event! We had the wonderful staff from California Pizza Kitchen-Perkins Rowe set up such a great variety of items from specialty sandwiches and salads to pumpkin cheesecake. They even brought homemade lemonades for everyone to try. Guests were invited to enter to win a $75 gift card to the
restaurant as well! We highly recommend you check out their Baton Rouge birthday party options for kids. Next, we had our fabulous friends from Bliss Patisserie on hand with an assortment of options to help the children {and parents} decorate their own Halloween-themed cupcakes! The end result was simply delicious. You’ll want to visit them for all of your sweet needs, trust us! In addition, we had the amazing Leave Dinner to June join us with the yummiest Caprese Chicken Pasta Salad and white chocolate snicker doodles. This is such a great option to have when you want a homemade meal delivered to your door or sent to a loved one. Finally, we were so happy to have our friends from Whole Foods Market bring an assortment of delicious bagels, juice and waters for guests to enjoy.

As with all of our Baton Rouge community events, we choose a charity. We were very excited to partner with  Communities in Schools, whose mission and goals focus on surrounding students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Thank you SO much if you were able to donate items for such a great cause. We surely did collect quite a bit! We think it is especially necessary to show our children the importance of giving back to their community and we tip our hats to you for helping us to do just that.
