I’m Expecting… Deals! My Prime Day Picks for Baby & Me
One of the perks of being pregnant in July? The deals! So many retailers are rolling out sales this month, but the heavy hitter is Amazon Prime Day, running from July 8–11. Now is the time to snag big-ticket items and baby gear at a discount — before baby gets here and your hands are literally full.
I’ve watched the TikToks, talked to the moms, made my list and checked it twice — and I’m sharing what I’ll be eyeing this Prime Day. This isn’t a full-blown registry, just a few must-haves I’m hoping to grab if the price is right.
Chicco Duo Hybrid Baby Bottles
I’m most excited about these bottles. There’s so much debate about glass vs. plastic and the risks of each. I was on the fence until I found these! The Chicco Duo bottles combine the best of both worlds: the inner layer is glass (so that’s what touches the milk), and the outer layer is plastic for durability. Genius!
- Price to watch: $19.99 for a 2-pack of the 9oz bottles, $43.99 for the starter kit which has two 5oz and 9oz bottles plus two pacifiers.
If these go on sale? Add to cart immediately.
Breastmilk Chiller
As a working mom who plans to pump, this feels like a game-changer. No more risking your liquid gold getting left in the office fridge. These chillers keep milk cold for up to 24 hours thanks to built-in cooling components. I’m still deciding which one to go with, but here are my top contenders:
- CERES CHILL OG Breastmilk Chiller
- Momcozy 22oz Portable Breast Milk Cooler
- Boon Frosh Portable Breast Milk Chiller
Baby Monitor (Non-WiFi!)
Next on my list: a baby monitor. But not one that connects to WiFi. I’ve heard way too many horror stories about hackers, and I’m not trying to star in a Lifetime movie. I’m looking for one with:
- Two-way audio
- Good night vision
- Tilt/pan camera function
Some strong options:
Bottle Washer or Countertop Dishwasher
Not a “need,” but definitely a “want.” I’m all about convenience in 2025, and these machines clean, sterilize, and dry bottles, pacifiers, and pump parts in one go. And the girlies on TikTok say this is a must. The only downside? Some require specific (read: pricey) cleaning tablets. As a backup, I’m also looking into compact countertop dishwashers. They may be the dark horse in this category.
Contenders:
- Momcozy KleanPal Pro Baby Bottle Washer, Sterilizer & Dryer
- Grownsy EaseClean Bottle Washer Pro
- Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro
Countertop Dishwashers
- EUHOMY Mini Portable Dishwasher Countertop
- HAVA Countertop Dishwasher, 8 Wash Programs
- HAVA 2025 NEW Upgraded Countertop Dishwasher
- HAVA Countertop Dishwasher, 6 Programs Portable
Everything Frida Mom & Frida Baby
Frida Mom is that girl. I’m looking at their postpartum recovery kits, breastfeeding essentials, and baby care items — and yes, they come recommended by my OB, which seals the deal. I’ll be deep-diving their Amazon storefront during Prime Day. My top picks:
- Frida Mom 11pc Postpartum Essentials Kit Gift Set
- Frida Mom Postpartum Underwear
- Frida Mom 2-in-1 Postpartum Pads
- Frida Mom Nipple Cream
- Frida Baby Electric NoseFrida Pro Nasal Aspirator for Baby
- Frida Baby Ultimate Baby Kit
Baby Delight Alpine Deluxe Portable Bouncer
This one’s a non-negotiable. I’ve seen so many moms rave about how helpful these are for getting a quick shower or dinner cooked — and apparently, some babies poop as soon as they’re in them? Say less. I’m looking at the Baby Delight Alpine Deluxe.
Baby Delight Beside Me Dreamer Bassinet
Where baby sleeps is personal. I plan to breastfeed, so having baby close (but safe) for those late-night feedings and anxiety-driven breathing checks is a win. I’m leaning toward a bedside bassinet like the Baby Delight Beside Me Dreamer, which keeps baby nearby without full-on co-sleeping.
Steel Diaper Pail
To diaper pail or not to diaper pail? That is the question. Since the nursery is upstairs, I’ve decided on yes. But plastic or steel? The scent-holding plastic ones I’ve seen at thrift stores turned me off. I’m leaning steel — yes, it’s pricier, but I think it’ll be worth it.
Watchlist:
A Few More Goodies
Other items on my Prime Day radar:
- Skincare: Tubby Todd and Mustela
- Muslin everything: burp cloths, wash cloths, towels, swaddles, bibs
- The viral wipes: Momcozy Wipes
- Nightlight + Sound Machines:
Prime Day Tips
Here’s some tips and how I’m prepping to make the most of Prime Day:
- Check your registry — or your friends’ — now is the time to buy and gift!
- Create an Amazon wishlist ahead of time to track deals and have one convenient place to go to.
- Turn on deal alerts in the app for quick notifications of lightening deals and flash sales.
- Use CamelCamelCamel to confirm you are getting the best price.
- Add to cart now and take pictures of the cart to compare current vs. Prime Day prices.
- Cross-check retailers like Target and Walmart for price matches/beaters.
- Be ready at midnight PT on July 8 — early bird gets the best deals!
- Popular colors sell out fast, so move quick.
- Expect slower shipping — Prime Day deliveries can take a week or more.
Final Thoughts
Being pregnant during Prime Day? Honestly, perfect timing. I’m building a life — and a nursery — and if I can do it at a discount? Yes ma’am. Wishing you good deals, fast shipping, and a cart full of baby goodies!❤️????
