Bloom :: An Event Recap

We were so honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to gather approximately 80 Baton Rouge area moms last week in honor of motherhood. In partnership with Dr. Smith’s, Baton Rouge General Medical Center and Zoes Kitchen we welcomed dozens of mothers and moms-to-be to Bloom, an event designed specifically for new and expectant moms in Baton Rouge.

The Venue :: Baton Rouge General

Baton Rouge General welcomed all of us with open arms. We loved being able to share their newly renovated birthing center with our guests, and all attendees left the event armed with some fun goodies thanks to our hosting venue as well. The best part? One Baton Rouge mom left with a crib that she won courtesy BRG! How awesome is that?!

The Food :: Zoes Kitchen and Truly Scrumptious

Zoes Kitchen treated all Bloom guests to a delicious spread that included hummus and pita, pasta salad, mediterranean roll ups and even Yaya’s chocolate cake. Next to their table was a special treat from Baton Rouge based Truly Scrumptious … all we can say is that if you have not tasted their pretzel crunch, you’re the only one who is missing out!

Food

The Entertainment

In addition to being able to enjoy some really delicious food, our Bloom guests were able to meet lots of amazing local businesses from right here in Baton Rouge. From creating a sweet nursery craft with Kid-Possible Camps to pampering with The Dry Bar to learning about baby registries with Babies R Us … there was lots to enjoy. The owners of Bambinos, LLC were present to show moms their amazing Hatch Baby Scales and Dr. Smith’s was on hand displaying their product line diaper ointments. The wonderful staff from Associates in Pediatric Dentistry was available to talk to moms about bringing the littles to visit the dentist in a welcoming environment. We also had Acadian Modern Dentistry to remind moms the importance of taking care of themselves as well as Amanda Adams and Mary Prescott on behalf of Beautycounter.
