Celebrating National Dessert Day
National Dessert Day is America’s favorite day! Everyone around the United States gets to indulge each year on October 14th to celebrate the sweetest day of the year. Also it gives us an excuse to eat cookies, cake and ice cream.
If you would like to celebrate National Dessert Day, I have listed some local restaurants that serve the best desserts. Some are even hosting a dinner and dessert event on this day.

This restaurant doesn’t just serve the best steaks but has some of the most amazing desserts as well. One of my favorites is their in-house carrot cake made with pineapples, pecans, coconut, and carrots.
Copeland’s CheeseCake Bistro
This bistro is known for its original creamy cheesecake recipe with many signature toppings to choose from. They also serve other desserts, such as rum cream bread pudding, a chocolate fudge cake, and so many more.
Crumbl Cookies Baton Rouge
If you’re looking for cookies on another level, you’ve found the perfect place. Crumbl cookies are soft, warm, and tasty that come in multiple flavors. They offer pickup and delivery which is perfect to me because who wouldn’t want cookies delivered to the door, right?!
Peach Cobbler Factory Baton Rouge
Are you a fan of peach cobbler? If so, then The Peach Cobbler Factory is the place to be. They offer so many delicious unique desserts, it’s insane. Twelve different flavors of cobbler served with vanilla ice cream and so many more desserts to choose from.

Twenty cookies for $20 dollars! This offer is valid in store and online through the end of October. This bakery chain is known for the best cookie sandwiches. They offer late night deliveries, and some locations even sell ice cream.

This ice cream chain offers the best “create your own ice cream” in town, with so many different flavors to explore and toppings to choose from. A few flavors they offer are chocolate, cake batter, sweet cream, strawberry … and the list goes on. Visit your local Cold Stone and create your own delicious treat.
BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse
This restaurant & brewhouse specializes in a dessert called a Pizookie. It’s made from dough, cooked in a deep dish pizza pan, and topped with any sweet toppings of your choice. They’re offering a special on this sweet treat for $5.00 dollars on Tuesdays.
