Dinner Dash :: Our Favorite Go To Recipes for Busy Weeknights

Dinner Dash!!

The dinner dash! After school homework and practice. My tiny tornados, Jack and Jacob, burst through the door, ready to refuel. Jacob’s gotta get his scooter tricks on, while Jack’s practicing his jump shot, dreaming of NBA stardom.

But first, we’ve got a garden to water, turtles to feed, and maybe a sneaky water fight or two (or ten). Then, it’s time to cook up some magic!

Here are our go-to recipes that’ll make your taste buds do the happy dance:

One-Pot Pasta Palooza

– 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
-1 lb Italian sausage

Steps:
1. Brown Italian sausage
2.Boil pasta
3.Add sausage to pasta
4.Add sauce
5.Sprinkle cheese, because priorities!

Funny highlight: Jack once added an extra cup of cheese, making it a cheesy volcano!

Jack’s favorite food is homemade mom tacos.

Feel free to add veggies or your favorite beans to cook on the stovetop. Jack says he loves broccoli and they both love beans.

Also, a secret mom hint: you can add spinach to everything, it either disappears or looks like a garnish. Celery, bell pepper, and white onions add to everything they touch.

After dinner, we share laughs, stories, and memories. It’s chaos, but it’s our special time together. They have so many wonderful stories to tell. So, if you need me, I’ll be in the kitchen, refereeing water fights and serving up smiles!

(If all of these fail, there’s always Popeyes.)

Bon appetit!
