Holiday Favorite Movies :: Where to Watch This Holiday Season

Holiday Favorite Movies :: Where to Watch This Holiday SeasonThe holidays are quickly approaching, and as we moms undertake the shopping and gift giving, the cooking and the cleaning, we also have another mental task that goes overlooked – where in the heck do I find [enter your family’s favorite holiday film here] to watch this year? With so many streaming services and mergers and deals ending, it can be hard to find the holiday films your family watches every year. This year I’ve done the work for you.

The Ones You’ll Have to Find on DVD

These films, sadly, are not currently streaming anywhere, but you may be able to buy them somewhere.

A Muppet Family Christmas (NR)

The Holiday (PG-13)

Prancer (G)

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (NR), this will likely air on NBC/Peacock at some time during the holiday season.

If you’re a Hallmark holiday movie fan, you’ll need to download the Hallmark app or tune directly to the Hallmark channel. You may also notice there are not a lot of options on Netflix. They have moved to original films as the other streaming apps have launched. When you’re ready to watch, make a batch of these cinnamon rolls, cozy up with a holiday beverage and gather round the TV to watch some favorites for a new (or continued) family tradition.
