Here at IndiePlate, when we have our daily meetings to discuss what new products go on our Fresh Market at www.indieplate.com, there is one question we always ask ourselves – how can we make our customers’ lives easier without compromising on health and quality of life. Around the end of August, in one of our meetings, it became obvious to us that with school and work starting in September, and football season getting into high gear, time will be of the essence for all #IndiePendents.

All throughout the summer, What’s Cookin’ Wednesdays have focused on cooking made easy.  With even less time for busy moms in September, we teamed up with Indie Plate to figure out easy (but still healthy) “tummy-filling options” that moms could use to feed their family.

We’ve put together a list of all quick, healthy snacking foods that do not require you to be in the kitchen, but are still very wholesome and satisfying.

And, of course, there are always fresh fruits and veggies!

These snacks are perfect as mid-day eats, to send to school with kids, and even for mom and dad to take to work. As always, these are all handmade by food artisans locally with the utmost care for quality. There are no refined sugars, chemicals or artificial preservatives in any of these, so eat away and know that even though these are “convenience foods”, you are putting something in your body that is wholesome and good for you!
