When my children were born, I quickly discovered how parenting is completely a 24/7 job. I knew this ahead of time in my head, but it took a little while for my whole body and frame of mind to adjust. I LOVE being a mother, and my children bring me more joy than I can describe. But whether they are with us, at a friend's house, at school, or with a babysitter, as parents we are always on call and ultimately responsible for them. It was really hard to fully comprehend this the first few months of motherhood, but people told me ahead of time that being a parent ALL of the time would be one of the biggest...
Louisiana. Just even hearing the name of our beloved state conjures quick thoughts of LSU or Saints tailgate parties, parades, and not to mention the best food in the country. These integral parts of our culture also include one very specific ingredient ...  Alcohol. Be Careful What You Read

Surely you've seen those articles floating around the internet that you just feel compelled to read. Somehow, this one is going to make your life better, tell you what you can be doing better, or things you should stop doing. It had a title like "12 Deformities that Happen After Birth" and proceeded with suggesting that mothers cause certain deformities by what they do or don't do correctly. I read it immediately, and as I scrolled skimming, I came to number 8 - the curved spine. Apparently, by this...

Bee Better with Bombas :: The Only Brand of Socks You'll Ever Need A wise man once said, "One can never have enough socks." I, for one, agree completely with Albus Dumbledore on this. As a work at home mom, I spend all day in comfy socks. And I can now say that I've found the comfiest socks out there! Bombas socks are exactly what you would imagine a a sock should feel like. The best part? My whole family agrees! When I first started working from home, I had a plan. I would wake up early every day...
