Easter Basket Ideas::No Candy Edition

I know that Easter is usually all about chocolate bunnies and lots of candy, but I have been trying to limit sugar and dyes for my kids recently because I have noticed a huge change in behavior with one child doing so. This year for Easter, I had to get kind of creative because I didn’t want baskets loaded down with candy! So, I decided to share my finds with you guys!

I bought their baskets years ago from Five Below and I used my vinyl machine to personalize them! If you are looking for adorable baskets that won’t break the bank, go check them out. They have so many styles and colors and they are usually $5 and under!  It’s a great place to start!

First-I found these adorable swimsuit sets at Costco! They came with the shirt, bottom and a hat for under $15. Perfect Easter gift, since Summer is just around the corner!  You could also do raincoats, rainboots, or new sandals.

Next up-My kids LOVE surprise eggs-so I looked on amazon and found eggs that lined up with their interests! My oldest loves this Dragmonz show, and he will love these eggs! The girls love unicorns, so I bought them eggs with unicorns in them. For my youngest, monster truck-loving boy – I skipped the egg and found a big monster truck toy at Five Below!!!

My kids have recently been really into the Perler beads so I got them a huge set from Amazon that came with square templates that will encourage a bit more creativity when making some new designs. This gift will be for all four!I got each child an Easter book for their baskets. They love to read, and we try to support this love as much as possible. The oldest has really been interested in drawing, so I purchased a “how to” draw book for him. Coloring books and new crayons would be a great idea too!

Next up-bath bombs! I don’t know about y’all, but my kids are OBSESSED! These make bath time so much fun AND you can use them as rewards! I picked up a pack of multiples from TJ Maxx for less than $6! I’ll split them up for each of their baskets!  Bubble bath, foam soap and new bath toys are other options.

This year I found life size rubber duckies at Five Below! They are bright and glittery and I will have four excited kiddos when they lay eyes on them! They can be used at bath time or in the pool this summer!

Last, but certainly not least! Everyone is getting their own carton of confetti eggs!!! I got mine from Walmart this year, but I’ve also found them on amazon in the past!!!! These things are so much fun and encourage some outside time after the Bunny comes! The mess they create is biodegradable. It’s a win-win! Another fun outdoor idea is sidewalk chalk, also easy clean up with the next rain!

I hope I could help you with some non-candy ideas for Easter this year or even next! I hope everyone has a Blessed Easter!

HAPPY HOPPING!
