Getting Ready For School Orientation
Preparing Myself for about Back to School Orientation:
We’re getting closer and closer to Back to School orientation and I have butterflies. It’s like the last few weeks of summer are speeding by. I’m doing my best to soak up every last minute with the minis before it’s time for them to head to school.
Meeting the teacher makes me a little anxious. What if my kids don’t like their teachers? What if … their teachers don’t love them? I want their teachers to know what wonderful kids that they get to spend time with. I want my boys to enjoy spending time with their teachers. What if their teachers don’t push them? What if they push them too much? I love to come home and hear about what happened during their day. I love to see how excited they get when they learn something new.
I love to dress the boys up for orientation.
They take it so seriously with their little dress clothes on. I think it helps them take their school seriously when they see how seriously I do.
When we show up, I probably have tons of questions. I do my best to only ask the pressing ones. I’ll probably send emails afterwards. This is when I let the teachers know they have my support and I’ll do what I can to aid in the classroom learning. After all, back to school orientation is about the teachers and parents meeting as well.
They’ll get to see their schools, classrooms, and desks. This will help them get familiar and get used to where they’ll spend most of their days when school starts. Hopefully, they’ll learn what their routine will be when school begins. Maybe see their playgrounds they’ll get to play on when school starts. I’m hopeful it’ll go well.
