I used to be a hardcore Thanksgiving purist. No trees, no snow, no Christmas jingles until after Thanksgiving. Then I married a man that loves Christmas so much it literally hurt. And we had kids. My stance on Thanksgiving was outvoted. We put up our tree the weekend after Halloween, it stays up well into January. Christmas carols can be heard blasting from our car in mid-June. I lost.
